A common signature request we get from Customers is to have an image link to a Tag within CloudM Manage that directs to a URL, a common request is a Linkedin URL, We will be using this for our example:
So first of all, if you wish to have a Tag that includes a website URL, it must have HTTPs:// in front of it, or the redirect will not work. So, for example:
<p> href="#if ($!linkedinUrl)$!linkedinUrl#else https://www.linkedin.com/company/cloud-technology-solutions #end"<img style="border: 0px; padding: 0px;" title="Find Me On LinkedIn" src="https://storage.googleapis.com/cloudpages/images/linkedin.png" alt="Linkedin" /></p>
Within this statement, it displays the following output within the signature:
Now, when selecting the Linkedin Icon, it takes me to my LinkedIn Page and if I did not have that tag filled out, it would take me to our Company's Linkedin page.
So within the signature, you can see we start of with the href itself, then within the href we use a if statement against the tag ending with a else statement, then followed by the image.
Feel free to use that signature code and tweek it to reflect on your company, the image is a default within CloudM Manage.
