This functionality is not currently available in CloudM Manage for Microsoft
In order for a user to setup Password Recovery, the Organization Unit they are a member of needs to have "Enable Password Recovery" set to "Yes" for their OU -
The Enable Password Recovery can also be inherited from the parent OU
This setting is located within the Passwords tab of the OU settings.
- Browse and locate the required OU
- Use Actions menu and select Edit Organisation
- Open the Passwords section from the expansion tabs
- Check if Enable Password Recovery is set to Yes - either through inheritance or explicitly
Once configured a user can setup their own Password Recovery. This is completed from their Profile Page.
This will bring up a dynamic menu option with 3 questions that can be chosen from a drop down list which provides a wide range of options.
Once the questions are chosen the user must provide the answers in the plain text field underneath and click "Set Answers".
Recovering Your Password
When password recovery has been setup you can recover your password using CloudM Manage.
At the CloudM Manage login window, click on 'Forgot your password'.
You will be prompted to enter the answers to your recovery questions. If answered correctly, you will be taken to the Update Password screen.
From here, you can reset your password and login to CloudM Manage.
