With CloudManager you can configure delegated access to users' Gmail and calendar.
To do so:
- Go to the user's Org Unit;
- Select the user;
- Click the three dots in the upper-right corner of their profile card;
- Select 'Delegate access'.
Delegation needs to be enabled at by the G Suite admin before you can do this via CloudManager. Please see G Suite's instructions for more info, and bear in mind that it can take up to two hours in some cases for this to propagate.
Can I view a list of accounts a user has been delegated access to?
Unfortunately, no. Google's API just allows us to list the delegates for an account - they don't give us a way to list accounts you have been delegated access to.
So, you can select a user from within CloudManager and click the actions menu to view the Delegate Access section:
This will display any users that have been given access to that account.
If you view the Outgoing tab of this view it will not list any accounts this user already has access to as we can't read them through the Google API. Only set them from here.
Delegating Calendar Permission
To delegate a users calendar select the 'Delegate Calendar' option from the action menu on a user profile. This will display the overlay shown below where you can select which calendars the user requires access to. You can also manage outgoing calendar delegation to grant users access to the users calendar.
When granting calendar access you can select the permission level from the dropdown below.
